Pilgrimage

After Psalms 121, a pilgrimage song of David

Lift up your head, human, lift up your head!
When helpers cease and the situation demands supernatural intervention. (v1)
There is only one who can sustain you, the LORD.
One, who stands above situations, because He is even the Creator of elements. (v2)
He does not delight in your misfortune.
He sees all, reflects all and carefully measures the weight for you to bear. (v3)

He keeps His children safe and remembers their needs. (v4)

He is it that keep you safe from harm.
The LORD is with you every step of the way; He is never afar. (v5)
As Concealer of Sins, that might light up in the bright sunshine;
Or that are revealed in the pale moonlight, for everyone to see,
He takes away the pain in your life. (v6)
The LORD keeps you from missteps and injustice;
He keeps your life engraved in the palm of His hand. (v7)
Everywhere, and in every situation:
At your coming in into this world and at the going out from this world,

He knows and abides with you. Forever. (v8)
