The Bible without a Creator God is a Worthless BookPosted: 08-28-2016
Those who find it difficult to accept Genesis 1 and 2, might as well toss the Bible in the waste paper basket, because God as Creator is THE ultimate character feature of the God of the Bible; a deed He brings to the front as evidence for His Godship.
Those who love and honour God as Creator, can do nothing but acknowledge that He holds before us a monument of His work: His Creation is crowned with THE SIGN of creation, the Sabbath of the seventh day (Genesis 2:2,3 and Exodus 20:8-11).
Those who love and honor God as Creator will acknowledge and honour this sign of His Creation power.
The seventh day is the monument in time of the great work that he has done in Creation and redemption, and it will be an eternal monument on the new earth. This Monument in Time was established in Eden, in a sinless situation, whereby that monument cannot be reckoned to a shadow ceremony of forgiveness from sin. It was established when there was no Jew around, whereby the reasoning "it is for the Jews" does not find justification - it is a monument that God gave to Adam and Eve, the parents of all humanity.
You may have had the highest education possible, but if you demand a Bible without a Creator, you must go through the Bible with a black marker and strike out a lot of passages.
What's left becomes to the atheist a book not worth reading; to a believer who don't accept a Creator God, a very unpleasant confrontation.
It is sad to see Christians who censure the book themselves, while professing that it lays at the basis of their faith and existence.
But if God is indeed Creator, than He has something to say about you and you will have to give account, cause even the breath in your nostrils is His. And it is there where the majority of the people have difficulty with - to have to give account.
Thus they write Him off, of make Him into a powerless, idol, a Santa Claus, who gives presents even to bad children, and who has so much love that every evil is indulged; and even suicide bombers go to heaven. Meat for scoffers ...
It is clear that it is important to God that we acknowledge Him as Creator. I AM. Creation is the basis and Re-Creation is the goal of the Bible. Redemption is the mean, the Only Way.
