Video - We are living in momentous times

We are living in momentous times. Things are happening rapidly and right before our very eyes.
The final movements will be rapid ones and what are we going to do?
Continue with the routine of life? Or are we going to get down and praying like never before and studying God’s word and studying these things that happen in the Christian world today. We should know our Bible prophesy. We are reading nice books, they might be inspiring but they don’t give us in depth view of the teaching of our Church and strengthen our faith in the solemn message that we have and give us a sense of the mission that we are supposed to fulfill. Praise the Lord that there soon be a loud cry that will call people out of Babylon. Great Controversy page 606,607, she speaks about the loud cry, Babylon is fallen, come out of her My people. That’s what we ought to be saying to the protestant world, “Come out of her! There is a better place, there is a better option!” She says:

Thus the message of the third angel will be proclaimed. As the time comes for it to be given with greatest power, the Lord will work through humble instruments, leading the minds of those who consecrate themselves to His service. The laborers will be qualified rather by the unction of His Spirit than by the training of literary institutions.

No theologians needed. Theology is not bad, but the apostle Paul says that knowledge is dangerous. The more we know, the more we think we know. He who depends on the Lord realizes that the more he knows the more he knows very little.

Men of faith and prayer will be constrained to go forth with holy zeal, declaring the words which God gives them. The sins of Babylon will be laid open. The fearful results of enforcing the observances of the church by civil authority, the inroads of spiritualism, the stealthy but rapid progress of the papal power—all will be unmasked. By these solemn warnings the people will be stirred. Thousands upon thousands will listen who have never heard words like these. In amazement they hear the testimony that Babylon is the church, fallen because of her errors and sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from heaven. As the people go to their former teachers with the eager inquiry, Are these things so? the ministers present fables, prophesy smooth things, to soothe their fears and quiet the awakened conscience. But since many refuse to be satisfied with the mere authority of men and demand a plain “Thus saith the Lord,” the popular ministry, like the Pharisees of old, filled with anger as their authority is questioned, will denounce the message as of Satan and stir up the sin-loving multitudes to revile and persecute those who proclaim it.

Those days are not far off. Is our faith so strong? Is our knowledge of our message so strong? connection to Jesus so strong that we would be in this group that would fearlessly proclaim God’s message though the heavens fall and though it may costs us our life? It’s time to get down to business and build a character upon the solid foundations of God’s holy Word.

Erken nu met geheel uw hart en ziel, dat niet een van alle goede beloften die de HERE, uw God, u gegeven heeft, onvervuld gebleven is. - Jozua 23:14
